Byzantine / Islamic / Viking mosaic glass bead
Date: 7 - 9 century
Mosaic cane glass

Bead's matrix is made up of sections of premanufactured mosaic cane consisted of multiple blue single glass canes, placed around yellow-in-red center.  
Intact, excellent condition.
 
Height 17 mm, diameter 11 mm.
