Roman checkerboard glass bead
Date: 1-2 century
Mosaic cane glass

Spherical bead's matrix is formed by folding a premanufactured mosaic strip over a rod. White glass with central band is a multicolored checkerboard. 
Intact, good condition, some glass discoloration.
Height 16 mm, diameter 16 mm
