One of the earliest production of metal-foil glass ancient beads. Opposed to the later production, each bead was made individually, with accurate, heat treated ends. Two layers of clear glass with electrum (gold and silver alloy) metal foil in between. 
Excellent condition, all beads are intact.
Largest bead: D. 10 mm, H. 8 mm
Necklace is 19.5" ( 49.5 cm) long
